Sophie Bourne

Sophie Bourne is a Registered Nurse and Melanographer with a particular interest in skin cancer detection and early diagnosis. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Southern Queensland and a Certificate of Melanography Essentials through Dermatology Australasia, and is currently completing an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine through HealthCert.

With over four years of prior experience in dermal therapy across acne, pigmentation, scarring, skin rejuvenation and skin health, Sophie brings a strong understanding of the skin to her clinical practice. She particularly enjoys the pattern recognition and problem-solving involved in early detection, as well as the procedural and wound care journey that follows.
